Hi guys!
I've got a horrible feeling that my beautiful 10 year old Cockatiel Phil headed over Rainbow Bridge on the weekend. He escaped on Sunday morning and we havne't seen him since. The lost notices have gone out and now we just have to keep our fingers crossed, but as time goes by, it doesn't look good. Hopefully someone finds him and is able to capture him and call us.
Here's a shot of the little fella. Scott and I are keeping our fingers crossed for some very good luck.

that's terrible i hope you find him! i'm sure he will be flying around enjoying some freedom and wil be home in no time.

maybe if you leave his cage out with the door open and lots of food, he might just come back on his own.

I have fantastic news! Phil obviously wasn't ready to cross Rainbow Bridge yet - this morning he flew into the house of a complete stranger, landed in her fruit bowl and started helping himself to a Banana! She called a mate of hers who owns Cockatiels and they came to the rescue. They had also seen the "Lost Phil" signs I had put up around the neighbourhood and now I have my wonderful Phil back again! I can't believe it - he truly is "Lucky Phil!" We are just over the moon!

Good on you Phil :o  - my sister has a parrot - escaped as well - 2 days on the run - the minor birds kept chasing it - one day my sister could hear it crying and sure enough it was sitting on the arm of the directors chair near the back door. One lucky bird. Congrats to you though. Very lucky. Jeni
